Inspiron 15R SE 7520 : AMD graphic card is not working

I have receive my new laptop 2 days ago. I did all driver update and I just notified that the AMD graphic card is not correctly installed.

As you can see, Windows has stopped the device.

What I have done from there is to remove both graphic card (Intel first, then AMD) and install them back (Intel first then AMD) from Dell Website. I have the same result, only the Intel graphic card is loading and the other one is stopped.

What can I do?

Here is the output of the AMD Catalyst installation :

Hello ,

I was doing a research on this issue and came across this document which might fix the issue.
Refer to the link mentioned below.
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc725873(v=ws.10).aspx

I would also suggest you to run the Microsoft fix it which might be helpful. The following Link would help you with the same.

Hello,

Thank you for replying, since the fix it was not able to fix the issue, we would have to do it manually. A clean re-installation of the display adapters is required. Please follow the steps mentioned below to do a clean re-installation of the display adapters.

-- Uninstall the Catalyst Control Center from the Program and Features.
  1. Click on start.
  2. Click on Control Panel.
  3. Program and Features.
  4. Uninstall every program related to ATI Catalyst Control Center.

-- Delete the folder named Video from the Dell Drivers Folder.
  1.  Click on Start.
  2.  Click on Computers.
  3.  Open the C Drive.
  4.  Open the Folder named Dell.
  5.  Open the Folder named Drivers.
  6.  Delete the Folder named Video.

-- Uninstall the Video Drivers from the Device manager.
Start -> Control Panel -> Device Manager -> Display Adapters (Right Click and uninstall the AMD Radeon HD7730).

-- Please do check in the startup items as well, if there is anything related to ATI Catalyst Control Center. Disable it.
Start -> Run -> MSCONFIG -> Start Up.
Restart the computer.

Download and Install the latest video drivers from the following link: http://dell.to/QjjZDA
-- Enter the service tag.
-- Choose the Operating System.

Hi,

I have followed, step by step everything. I also got a "Successful" message when everything has been installed. Unfortunately when I go see in the Device Manager I still see the warning sign and the message "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" when I double click on it.

Is it a hardware failure?

I have call Dell and once the BIOS was updated (A5 to A7) it worked.

Thank you all.

HI .... I am sorry for hacking this post ..

But I am facing the same issue with my Inspiron SE 7520(Window 8 - 64 Bit).

I bought it from USA.

Sometimes I am getting same error mentioned above and sometimes its working fine.

But in all cases I am not able to see Catalyst Control Center. The only option I can see is Intel HD Graphic.

Please help.
