Inspiron 17 5758 mouse pad issues...

literally one of the worst track pads i have ever used... ive seen the mouse drift, become unresponsive, difficulty using any of the fast scrolling gestures.. not sure what the guys at dell where smoking when constructing this thing but i want some, so i can forget these issues.. 

anybody else have a *** mouse? any software updates i should know about? honestly, ive upgraded from an 8yr old toshiba that had a better mouse than this 1k dollar dell? ***..
