Inspiron 3520 - Trying to record line in through internal microphone input.

Hi guys,

I'm basically trying to record an audio mix through the internal mic input with a RCA to jack input. When I record however, external sounds such as my voice are included in the audio sample. The program I am using is Audacity.

What would be the best way of going about this?

I just want the audio from the mixer to be recorded, and not the external sounds.

Apologies if I havn't phrased this properly, I hope what I am trying to convey to clear.

Cheers

Hello. Have you gotten this fixed yet? Sorry but I can't tell you what to do. The i3520 uses Cirrus audio hardware which is very rare among the Dell laptops. You can't disable the internal mic in the Sound properties?
