Inspiron 6400 Batterymode Question

Hey Folks,

I'm from Germany so pardon my lack of technical language/words.

My Problem ist that my Laptop is "slower" in batterymode. I recognize this, when I'm gaming for example. My guess is, that its for enrgysavings due to the batterymode.

I had this Problem fixed on other Laptops, when I switched Preferences in the Energy-Options. I've tried this on the DELL "QuickSet" Tool, but note even the modes "Desktop" oder "Max. performance" help.

Is there any way to bring my Laptop to it#s full Performance in Batterymode? Some Preferences in BIOS maybe?
