Inspiron 7537 and Sleep mode in Win10

Hey there,

after updating to Windows 10 Sleep mode on our laptop works really strange. The laptop go to sleep mode fine, but we can't wake it up at all: using Power Button how it was previuosly or using some keys or mouse/touchpad. Nothing works. It doesn't matter how the laptop go to sleep mode byt closing a top or clicking Sleep mode or by himself when time goes out.

We even tried to pass all tests on dell.com and the laptop passed everything. So there is no problem with hardware or whatever.

Power Button only helps, but it turns the laptop off and then we need to turn it on again.

Is there a fix or whatever?
We have the latest drivers from Dell website, the latest Windows 10.

Thanks for your helping.

Hi,

Thank you for writing to us!

For the shut down and wake up issues, try disabling hibernation

Launch and elevated Command Prompt and enter the following command (there is no output)

powercfg /h off

and restart your machine.

Ok, we've tested it a lot recently. And it doesn't work.

It seems that it helps a bit: when I close lid and immediately open it - the laptop can wake up. But if the laptop was asleep all the night it's impossible to wake it up.

We have latests drivers from Dell and Intel and latests updates. And nothing helps. Any more ideas?

You can reinstall the operating system.

Thanks
