Inspiron 8600 Hard Drive
I have a Inspiron 8600 thats running slow. I upgraded the memory to 1 gig, but I was told that my disk drive has hard errors and should be replaced. The drive is a 60 gig ata/ide can I replace it with an ATA 60 gig, or something else.

Any 2.5" 9.5 mm parallel ATA (EIDE) drive - NOT SATA-- 120G or smaller will work.
