Inspiron 9400 e1705
help. Old inspiron 9400 e1705, upgraded ram to 4gig, hard drive to 250. Installed win 7 works only ok.
Did the windows 10 upgrade worked pretty well.
After a month went back to win 7.
Now when I try to reinstall the win 10, I get a VPN error and cannot connect to wifi.
The first upgrade to win 10 did not have a problem.
What can I do to fix this to go up to windows 10 again without the VPN error??????

Unfortunately, Dell does not have any Windows 10 drivers for this system.

Hello. Personally, I would stick with the operating system thatr was meant for the E1705 -- a lot less issues that way.
However, if you feel like you must have 10,and need help with the wi-fi issue, try posting on the Networking Wireless Internet board. This is the Laptop Audio board, so some of our members with expertise in Wi-fi issues might not see your question here.
