Inspiron N 5010 Fan not running, Proccessor and RAM Not availbale,

My Inspiron N 5010 shuts down after some time.

I found that its fan is not running, 

It shows that Proccessor and RAM as Not availbale! But all the functions are done like vedio playing, file opening.

its web cam is also not opening.

Can anybody help me and suggest what might have happened?

Hello Sandy850,

In order to assist you further, please help me understand the following details:

  • When and where are you getting the error for Processor and RAM as Not available? 
  • Since when are you facing the issue? 
  • Are you getting an error message when you are trying to open Webcam Central?
  • Did you try any suggestions mentioned in the article on Troubleshooting the Dell Webcam? If not, please try. 
  • Were there any recent hardware or software changes made on the computer? 

I would suggest you to run the Pre-Boot System Assessment (PSA / ePSA) Diagnostics. It is just to check the functionality of the hardware installed in the computer. Run the test and check if gives any error code. Note down the error code and update me with the same, would let you know the next course of action. Also check if the RAM and the Processor is detected in system BIOS. To enter BIOS Setup, restart the computer and start tapping F2 key at the Dell logo screen. 

Please try the steps and write back with results.
