Inspiron N5-10 not powering up. Charger flashes green. Tried new battery and charger.
Dell Inspiron N5010
Intel Core 15
The problem I am having is that my old laptop will not power up. There are NO LEDS that appear when the charger is connected.
On the charger the light is green when it is not plugged into the laptop, once I plug it in the charger light flashes green on and off. I've tried a new charger and battery and had no change. The computer did not randomly shut down, the power just got low and when I attempted to plug it in it had no charge. This is extremely frustrating and help will be greatly appreciated!

Hi Michaelky,
Thanks for writing to us.
If the charger light cuts off when its connected to the system, we are looking at a faulty motherboard.
You can try doing a power cycle by disconnecting the charger and battery and then hold down the power button for 10 seconds and put them back. Try to power on.
If still the same, its a faulty motherboard.
