Internal Speakers

So i just got a dell xps 13 2015 model and everything works great but the internal speakers don't work. If I move my ear close to them they have a soft tapping noise. I've tried driver uninstalls and different drives but none of them made a difference. I think it might be the hardware of internal speakers are broken somehow. I've have external speakers in the past that have done this. Also the headphone jack works fine, headphones and speakers work fine on it.

Hello. The test for speakers is the ePSA audio test. It is a hardware test, which means that if you don't hear the tones during the test, then the speakers have failed, or the connection needs to be re-seated.

If the laptop is still under warranty, remove all media players except Windows Media Player before contacting tech support, or you could be denied warranty service on the speakers.
