International Tag Transfer and Hard Drive Critical Failure

I recently bought a DELL laptop in the Marine Corps Exchange on the USMC Base at Twentynine Palms, California.

Now the system has experienced a critical hard drive failure (SMART) and will supposedly die shortly.

Since I live in Denmark, I have gotten in touch with DELL Denmark and they ask me to transfer the tag from the US to Denmark.

Only problem is, this is not possible as the transfer cannot go through as the transfer system does not recognize the Marine Corps Exchange as a valid store, so I have now recieved this message for the second time:

Dear Customer
Thank you for contacting Dell.
The Original owner
information provided in the last request is not matching with our records.
Kindly fill the online form www.dell.com/dhs/globaltagtransfer again with express service
code along with additional information (e.g. Express Service Code, Country of
current registration if the product was transferred from one region to another,
Name of the store if purchased from a retail store, auction id if purchased
through online auction) in the comments box.
We appreciate your
cooperation.
Regards,
International Tag Team

I have filled out all of the above information, but it still does not allow a transfer.

I would write an e-mail to support if I could, but apparantly this system isn´t approved for e-mail support...

Any help would be much appreciated.

Jacob

Have you tried contacting the Marine Base store?

Perhaps due to it being a miliatary entity, it is classified differently?

Don't know.

But I'd surely want to hear from them why they are not considered by Dell to be a legitimate vendor.
