Is Dell going to release a new Studio XPS laptop soon?
I am going to invest in one soon, but I'd like to know if they have a new model in the works to replace it within the near future. Or if they are planning on any hardware upgrades for the current one. Thanks for any information.

I too would like to see another luxury laptop from Dell. I think we can expect one around August when college starts back up because that's usually when Dell releases their new product lines.

No doubt they do - just as Toyota always has a new Camry in the works, Motorola a new Droid and Apple a new iPhone/iPod. There will ALWAYS be a newer model coming.
Even if it were announced next week, shipment usually takes at least a month or more so if "soon" is less than that and you can't wait a few months, it's a moot point.
If Dell announces in August, you won't get one in time for a traditional college opening time - the August announcements are generally for the holiday season.
