Is it possible Turn off Intel's Turbo Boost Tech?
As Topic.
My XPS L502X fan works in burst and make quite some noise even if im just using my browser or a simple writing program as notepad ++. What triggers the processor to call in all its power must be some background process.
When im in class i would rather have it to not do so. Is it any way i can prevent the boost to be activated? A dont overclock button i can activate to prevent the processor to use the boost?
Im aware of the BIOS option, but i would hate to enter the BIOS every day after schoolday is over to turn on the boost to do some gaming.
Thanks for any advice on this.
