Is there a diagnostic that will test if the fan is working on a Dell Inspiron 600M.
I think the fan may not be working on my laptop because I keep replacing the hard drive. Is there a diagnostic program available that will test the fan and , if so, were can I find it? thanks

Press F12 at powerup. Load the diagnostic from the menu that appears - they'll verify the fan operation.
How are the drives failing? What size (capacity) drive are you installing?
