You can click the link below to download The Dell Feature Enhancement Pack (DFEP 2.2) utility. Once installed you can open the utility and set the backlight keyboard time.

when I try this on the XPS 13 9350 I get an error "Windows Shell Common DLL has stopped working." Is there a fix for this? I have the Windows 10 Anniversary updates installed.

Thanks Jesse L. I thought that this app only applied to earlier models but I see on your link that it has been tested on Win 10. However I received the same error as the later poster, Robin M when changing the timeout time of the backlight.
It has fixed my F10 function key though which didn't control the backlight brightness before.
So, still have the timeout time issue though....

me too - xps 15 9550 win 10 anniversary update. .net 4 and later installed
