Laptop 15R 5537
Laptop will not boot - diagnostics says " hard drive not installed". Machine was working, then froze, next start will not boot. Is this likely a hard drive failure? Cbmatjack

Hi cbmatjack,
Please provide us the error code that you might have received after running Hardware diagnostic. Also, check the status of the Harddrive in BIOS. To go to BIOS you need to shut down the system then push the power button and immediately keep on tapping F2 every second until you see the BIOS screen.
You can also try reseating the Harddrive on your system by following the steps provided in the link below
