Laptop Not Booting Up. No Boot Disk Found
Hi,
When ever I boot my Dell Inspiron 15 3537 my laptop shows a black screen that says
"
Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller Series v1.34
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE M0F: Exiting PXE ROM
No Boot Device Found
"
I ran a diagnostic which has a warning prompt saying "msg hard drive - not installed"
Can you tell what my laptop's problem is?
Is my hard drive dead?
Is their any way I can fully recover everything on the hard drive?
Thanks alot.

Hi mso797,
It seems like the hard drive is not getting recognized in the system. Please remove and reseat the hard drive and check in the BIOS if the hard drive is recognized or not. In the link below punch in the system service tag or express service code and you can access the user manual for removing and reseating hard drive.

Please let me know the findings.
