Laptop not turning on

Sir, I have Dell Inspiron N5010 15R. It's battery has already exhausted and won't charge. I use it fully on power supply. Yesterday I shut it down properly but now it's not turning on. Only shows LED glowing. But no sound no display even if left as it for 15 minutes and immediately turns off if power button is pressed.  I tried starting through removing alternate RAM but that too didn't work. Also tried to start it after removing the battery but of no use. Please kindly suggest a solution.

Hi ANKITRAIKY,

Is there any damage on the system? Could you test with another power adapter if possible?

Press and hold the fn key + power button to turn on the system and it should initiate the diagnostics - check for any possible beep codes.

Disconnect the adapter and battery and press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to release any static power. Then test the system with the adapter only / battery only.

Remove both memory modules / HDD and power on the system and check if it detects the absence of memory modules.

If nothing works, I would suspect a motherboard fault.
