Latest BIOS/Driver updates for XPS9550 and WD15 causes Keyboard problems

After taking the latest recommended updates (why do I do it?) external mouse and keyboard now have problems. The keyboard is especially annoying and it inserts multiple key-repeats. It's infrequent but enough to really annoy. Please fix ASAP.

pauliom,

Reinstall the chipset drivers in the system and reboot the computer to see if that will fix the issues.

Could you be a little more specific? There are a lot of chipset drivers to choose from.

PAULIOM,

You will need to add your service tag number on the site below to see the configuration of your computer.

There are 8 downloads under the 'chipset' heading. Is there a specific one you believe needs to be reinstalled?

Yes, and no. There are a number of different TYPES of items to download. E.g. Intel Thunderbolt Controller Driver, Intel Serial IO Driver, etc. Which of these are you talking about?

PAULIOM,

That is why you would need to add your system service tag on the site. To view the computer hardware configuration.
