Latitude 10 Accelerometer seems to be causing a crash

I have a Latitude 10 that will lock up and crash when the table is moved quickly. Any action that would normally cause a screen change, whether screen position is locked or not. The machine will lock up. I would love to know if others are experiencing a similar problem and what methods were successful in fixing it.

Replacing the motherboard has fixed the problem

Trying to find a way to keep the tablet working while looking for a solution, I disabled the sensors in the Device Manager. Shaking the tablet will still cause a crash. Nothing in the event log other than the usual, computer has been shutdown unexpectedly blurb.

Worked with Dell Tech support on it:

  1. We ran the Pre-boot tests (Power on the unit holding down the volume up button before Dell logo appears). The test returned no errors.
  2. We rest the BIOS defaults (Power on the unit holding down the volume down button before Dell logo appears). Restored defaults - didn't fix it.
  3. We installed the Rotation Calibration Tool http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/DriverDetails/Product/latitude-10-st2e?driverId=1P2HN&osCode=W832&fileId=3201249021&languageCode=en&categoryId=CU
  4. We installed new chipset drivers: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/DriverDetails/Product/latitude-10-st2e?driverId=4GHCM&osCode=W832&fileId=3201875113&languageCode=en&categoryId=CS

Still broken. they are trying a warranty replacement of the motherboard now.
