Latitude D420 sound interference when processor operates
Hi, I have a latitude D420. Two problems. One - it's running VERY slowly. Two - whenever I try to listen to any audio and the processor starts to kick in I get crackling interference with the sound and it breaks up. It times perfectly with the processor icon lighting up and makes listening unbearable.
Any thoughts?

Look at Section Two of the thread Choppy/Skipping Audio Workaround. Check to make sure your IDE drives are not in PIO mode.

Many thanks for that - seemed to do the trick. I'll give it a good test run and report back.
