Latitude D830
AC adaptor stops working as soon as I plug it into my computer. Plug the adaptor into the wall outlet and the green light comes on. Plug the other end into my computer and the green light goes out. A such I am unable to charge or use my laptop. Any ideas as to how to fix this problem?

You have a faulty mainboard - you'll need to replace it.
