Latitude E5440 - External SSD not being recognised as USB 3.0

I have Kingston SSDnow 300V attache to a inateck USB 3.0 external enclosure. My laptop has an internal Liteonit LCS-256L9S-11 22 SCSI Drive. 

I am unable to achieve USB 3.0 transfer speeds in either read or write from my devices. Maximum transfer speed is 30Mb/s. I have tested the external SSD on my desktop and achieve 200MB/S + read/write speeds. 

I've updated my bios to the latest version E5440A12. Using USB tree view its currently being detected as a USB 2.0 device.

Has anyone encountered this issue?
