Latitude E5520 SATA speed

This laptop has a HM65 chipset, which supports SATA III. However, when I plug in a SATA III SSD drive to the internal port, the OS identifies it as a SATA II drive. Does anyone know if these laptops are limited to SATA II speeds only? Is there a setting in BIOS to modify this?

According to training documentation it is the full HM65 chipset.  Most of the SSD drives sold from the factory are SATA 2 drives but I know that Dell sells at least one SATA 3 SSD drive with the system.  There are no settings in the BIOS to adjust SATA other than the typical SATA operations section.
