Latitude Video Resolution RESETS on reboot

My default resolution is:

>> LCD only=1680x1050  or

>> Monitor only=1280x1024. 

 

However, every time I boot/restart it, the display starts in 800x600 and I have to manually reset it!?!??!

I've tweaked every setting and looked everywhere... what the heck am I missing?
