Locked Out
Hi,
About 3 months ago I had my laptop stolen but the good news is I got it back. My problem is the person who stole my laptop, changed the user account info as well as the password to log in at windows. Is there a way I can fix this problem? Can I do a factory reset? I don't mind doing a factory reset so I can remove anything this person may have done. How do I do a factory reset?

It depends on the OS - and whether you have prepared a set of recovery media. If you have, connect the flash drive or insert the DVD, press F12 and boot from it. The prompts will walk you through the install process.
If you haven't, and it's Windows 10, you can obtain recovery media by download:
www.microsoft.com/.../windows10
If it's older than 10, contact Dell to purchase a recovery flash drive.
