Long wait times for warranty and spare parts on business laptops

I have always been a proponent for Dells business line of laptops due to great warranty service and availability of spare parts.  Until now.....  I had an issue with a latitude wireless card and Dell support determined it needed to be replaced.  I indicated I could do the replacement and was told parts would ship out next day...2 weeks later, 2 phone calls and 3 chats and it is still not here.  I also needed an FHD LVDS cable for a precision m4800.  Found the part number and it took me 4 calls to find someone who could place the order for me.  The first 3 indicated the part was no longer used or no longer stocked.  Keep in mind this is a cable for a current production laptop.  Needless to say, this order has been delayed twice and no one can tell me when it will ship......  Anyone else experiencing this decline of service on the business line?

Well, the replacement wifi card finally showed up today!  If only the LVDS cable would ship......
