M1530 palm rest rattles ?

Since new the palm rest on my M1530 has rattled. If you tap your finger lightly on the palm rest a couple of cms to the left of the touchpad it rattles baldy. In fact, tapping it anywhere it trattles but it is worse in that area.  I think it is rattling against the hard drive bay but I'm guessing.

Does anyone else have a similar problem ? I'm sure Dell will replace the palm rest but that will mean they will pretty much dismantle the whole base unit which is ok if it fixes the problem but not if it doesn't.

If no one else has this problem then maybe it can be fixed.
