M5030 7 beeps

Well, I just spoke to Dell.  Unlike others, the Dell rep I got said:

1.  There is no widespread 7 beep problem with the M5030.     Yeah, Right.

2.  It will only be fixed out of warranty for $392.  Thanks for nothing!

I guess I will strip it down and bake the board until its soft, reassemble, and hope for the best.  Failing that it gets trashed and I by a used machine with XP or WIN 7.  WIN 8 will not enter this household....

This is how you kill a company - don't acknowledge obvious design issues.
