MEMORY RAM SUPPORTS FOR VOSTRO 3460
Greetings,
I have a question about this notebook (p.n: M14I7S650SA). In according to the datasheet of the product, the memory capacity max. is 8GB, but the processor intel ci7 3612qm supports up to 32gb. Actually the memory ram of the latpop is 6GB.
So, i want to know if I can upgrade up to 8gb.
Also I pretend to buy this memory: KHX1600C9S3P1K2/8G (Kingston) which specifications are the following:
8GB (4GB 512M x 64-Bit x 2 pcs.) DDR3-1600MHz CL9 204-Pin SODIMM Kit
I will appreciate if you can validate if this memory ram is compatible to this laptop vostro 3460.

The Corei7 processors support 32GB, but only with 4 dimms. Most laptops (including the Vostro 3460) only have 2 dimmslots, so they can only handle 2 8GB dimms.
This is the memory that is guaranteed by Kingston to work in a Vostro 3460:

The memory you found looks similar and probably will work, but may not actually be guaranteed to work with your laptop.

I also have the vostro 3460 , I wanna upgrade my memory . Anyone know is the laptop max memory 16Gb or 8Gb ?
