Multi-Monitor Setup

I have a Latitude E5570 with a 2.6 GHz i5-6440-HQ and Intel Intergrated HD 530 graphics chipset. I run this off an E-Port Plus K09A base.

My question is, is this setup sufficient to run 2 4k monitors (via DisplayPort) for everyday tasks? Not heavy gaming or anything, just basic business functions with some possible streaming from a 4k camera (which is processed by the CPU not the GPU).

Hi remulous,

Thanks for posting.

I've checked the internal specifications for the E-Port Plus, and am unable to find an exact answer to your question.  Does your dock look like this?

We may have to wait to see if other users have tried what you're asking about and maybe they will post it here.

Regards,
Robert

Hello Robert,

Yes that is the exact one. Unless I am mistaken and there is some sort of GPU in the E-Port, the resolution I am inquiring about is down to the Intel HD 530 chipset is it not?

Many Thanks,

Liam

There is no GPU inside the E-Port.  The resolution would be determined by the monitor and the computer.
