Multimedia Function Keys display
I don't know if this is the right sub-forum for this question, but I have an Inspiron N4010 and recently noticed that when I use the function keys - volume/muting, fast forward, etc - they work fine, but no longer show the pop-up to display the volume. This also means I don't get to see a warning for when i turn caps lock on and off. How can I restore this function?

The same thing happened to me. The keys were working fine but they just didn't pop up on the display screen anymore. so when i used the volume button i didn't know how high/low it was. I fixed it by re downloading/installing dell quickset and it worked fine and showed up on the display screen again!
