My Inspiron 15 will not allow me to make Back-up discs

The subject line really explains everything. 2 times I tried to make the System restore discs and 2 times the operation failed. 1 time was after completing 1 disc. Now it is a gray color in that selection section meaning I can't even attempt it again. I am very unsatisfied with Dell's Customer Support for not being available on the weekend.
