My dell inspiron 15 3542 laptop beeps for 7 times & dose not turn on
Hi Team,
My dell inspiron 15 3542 laptop beeps for 7 times from yesterday , the power light turns on & then slowly turns off & the beep sound starts.It is merely 1.4 years old.Please help me with any suggestion.
1.I have already tried using Fn key during start up,no luck
2.I tried removing battery , press power button for 15 sec, it doesnt help me

7 beeps indicates issue with the processor connector on the motherboard. Should your system be under warranty we can get it repaired.

No Dell_HEMA.The warrany has expired on Dec,2015.What can be done next?
Is it a valid known in this model?The service tag no is 2RJ1B12

Dell out of warranty repair:
www.dell.com/.../out-of-warranty
The cost of a mainboard replacment is about $300 -- you may be better off replacing the system rather than repairing this one.

You have to get the screen replaced, its a little expensive though. You can go through the link provided by our Community Rockstar.
