My dell won't proceed past the stating windows screen
Hi im willie
I need help my dell laptop will not proceed past the starting windows screen and it won't let me login please help me your my last resort

Start with an extended hard drive diagnostic - power up and press F12 a few times. From the boot menu that appears, choose diagnostics.
If you require further assistance, we'll need the full model number (i.e., Inspiron 5521, N5110,etc.) and the exact error codes you see from the diagnostics.
