My integrated webcam central is only showing a black window
Hi.
I upgraded my windows 7 to windows 8. i have XPS L502x. the cam works good using skype, but it doesn't work fine when i open the webcam central.. it shows black window only. help please to solve the problem.

Muhannadair,
Make sure the webcam is in capture mode.
Try a lower video resolution...

I can't even find the resolution option.

Muhannadair,
Hit the Windows key and the x keys at the same time, programs and feature, Dell Webcam Central, uninstall.
Restart the computer.
Download and install Dell Webcam Central Version 1.40.05
Does it work?

Oh u reminded me of this,, i cant see all my apps here. should i uninstall it from the device manager>
