My laptop

I really need my master password for my hdd. I'm not the original owner but I did have ownership transferred over to me.  Also I did talk to customer support and they said I have to wait 7 to 10 days for my password. I really need my password because my school work Is on there. Is there any way I can get the master password faster.  Also I never put a password on the hdd so this is really weird. Please Help

The issue is twofold:

There's a part of the password that's stored in EEPROM on the system board - that, you can have removed once you obtain an unlock password.

The other  part is stored in a user-inaccessible portion of the hard drive. Even if you obtain a master password, it will not remove that - you'd have to send the drive off to a data recovery service to have that done.  If a password appeared on the drive you didn't set -- and no one else did -- chances are the drive itself is faulty and will need to be replaced.
