Under warranty=contact Dell
Not under warranty=buy a new keyboard and replace
or use USB keyboard.

well since it is a laptop and not under warranty i will have to buy a keyboard but the clip is on the motherboard and i don't think the new keyboard will come with it and i want to still have a portable laptop because i travel a lot.
