Need info re possible upgrades to Inspiron 15" 7000 (7567)
I am in the market for a new laptop and really like the 7567 15" Inspiron now showing up at the Outlet. The models I like offer 7th Gen Intel I 7 Core ((7700HQ) plus 16 GB memory (1x16GB) and a 512 GB solid state hard drive. Here are my questions; 1) if I need more hard drive space later is there room in the computer for an additional hard drive: 2) can I add an additional 6 or 16 GB memory module and finally 3) can I do any of this work myself or is the unit so well sealed that it isn't worth trying without special tools etc.

There is room for a 2.5 inch drive. I did not get a larger battery, which may be available and could effect this. It also came with the hardware necessary to install the drive.
The memory specs., which you can get from Dell, show 32 GB possible using two SODIMM slots.
Working on the system is not really a problem. The warranty situation would be up to you.
