Need to find out how to boot my latitude ls

I just got a latitude ls off of eBay and it did not come with any OS nor external drives. I thought I could just use a USB floppy or CD Drive but apparently that is not the case. So it seems like my only option is to boot from a network for now and then install an OS. However I'm not sure how this can be done. If anyone can help me do this it would be greatly appreciated. I have networking equipment already, and another Dell laptop with Windows XP Pro and Red Hat linux 9.
