Neither microphone nor webcam working XPS 13

Model: Dell XPS 13 - (XPS 9343)

OS: Windows 10

I'm trying to skype with a friend, but neither my webcam nor my microphone are working. I recently upgraded to Windows 10, BUT neither worked in Windows 8 either. They've never worked. I'm just now addressing the issue because now I actually need to.

What I have tried: I went to Recording Devices to see if there was anything installed. There was not. I right-clicked to show disconnected and disabled devices. Still nothing. I downloaded the latest Realtek driver. But it kept asking me to restart my computer without ever actually installing the *** thing. Not sure what's happening here.

As for the webcam, I checked in the Device Manager, and there's not even an Imaging Devices option for me to check to see if anything is installed! Please help!
