New Dell Inspiron 5000 (5567) SSD
Hi,
does anyone know the specs of the installed SSD in this model? I have a Samsung Evo 850 SSD lying around, and am wondering if its better/faster than the stock one.
I cant find any information on the pre-installed.
Thanks

Anything is probably better than stock. I have a Samsung CM871 120 GB in my 5559 Inspiron. I went to Samsung and its not even listed. Probably one of those custom built for OEM which means unless Dell provides them Samsung won't. I do know even the Samsung application won't do much to help. It only provides minimal information. You could try some third party apps that will give you more speed info. The 850 series is again a lower end series anymore. If it gives you more space then it will probably be at least equal to the OEM.
