New dell 15r Touchpad doesn't work while a Key is pressed

My dell touch pad doesn't work while typing. Means that if you keep pressing any key on the keyboard except ctrl and alt keys then use the touchpad the cursor doesn't move it doesn't respond.
I haven't downloaded any drivers.
The problem could be settings which I don't know or drivers.

Hi Kevin9,

I suggest that you update the touchpad driver from the link given below:

http://dell.to/OIrF69

Select the model of the system and then select the Operating system from the drop down list. Click Input and click Download file and follow onscreen instruction to download the driver. Restart the system check if the touchpad works. If the issue persists I request you run the test on the Touchpad. Restart the system and at the Dell logo keep taping the F12 key every 2 seconds. This will start the One-time boot menu. Using arrow keys select ‘Diagnostics’ and hit enter. This will run quick test without waiting for your input. To select a specific test, you can either wait till the quick test completes or press Esc. Next a list of test available will be displayed. Please select Touchpad and click Run test. Please reply with the status of the test to assist you further.

Please check if this helps:
