No DVI input on my old computer????

My older desk computer won't get on line. It says no DVI input and has a blue screen. I am a senior and have a hard time with this.

Do you think this is something simple that I can fix?

Thanks

Hi ladyone,

It appears that the monitor is unable to get the video signals from the system. How long have you been facing this issue? Have you made any hardware or software changes to your system/monitor? Check the system tower and see if the monitor is connected to DVI port (white color) or a VGA port (blue color); select the mode on the monitor depending on the port it is connected to.

In case the issue still persists, please check and let me know the power light status on the system tower. Also, please let me know the system model and the monitor's model.

Keep me posted. Please reply for any further questions.
