No W8 compatible bluetooth driver for N4110

I have purchased the system with W7 64 bit and installed W8 64 bit. I was told by dell support that there is no driver available for W8 now. Could anyone from dell post when will it be released?

Hi Mathismart,

There are different types of card shipped with Inspiron N4110. Here is the link for Windows 8 drivers http://dell.to/TgtvwO
Let me know if you are looking for any specific driver.

Thanks. I have installed the bluetooth driver from the site. But It's not working. When asked I was told no w8 compatible driver available now.

I am looking for Intel(R) Centrino (R) Wireless Bluetooth (R) 3.0+ High speed adapter.

Please tell me exactly what card you have or provide the Driver IDs. The following cards are supported by Intel see here:

To check the hardware IDs see Step 12 of A Clean Install of Windows 8 in my Windows Reinstallation Guide:

Only I could access the driver details as Intel(R) Centrino (R) Wireless Bluetooth (R) 3.0+ High speed adapter, driver version: 2.6.23.40058.

I have tried all possible refresh and re installation of W8 with the remote access of bot Microdsoft and Dell support personnel. Finally they said we have not released the driver update for W8. But can't believe it.

Thanks, I installed both but the bluetooth identifies the devices but not connecting to them. After pairing the list goes offline. Tried a lot with MS and Dell. I don't know any except waiting for dell to update the driver
