No mobile broadband L501X

I just ordered my new XPS laptop and the order break down has listed " No Mobile Broadband L501X". What does this mean?

It simply means the system has no card for use with a mobile broadband (Verizon, AT&T, etc.) provider.

Most consumers don't use the services (they're expensive, starting around $80 a month) -- business users are far more likely to use them, so the cards are most often offered on business-class models (i.e., Latitude and precision) -- not home-use models (i.e., Inspiron, XPS, etc.).
