Nvidia 525m not detected in Device Manager, Nvidia driver cannot install.

Hello,

I recently replaced the hard drive on my Dell Inspiron 15R n5110 with all the drivers properly re-installed but the Nvidia drivers I got from the Dell website cannot be installed because no compatible GPU could be detected. I checked the Device Manager and only the Intel HD 3000 is present. Before I changed my hard drive, I had the drivers for the Nvidia 525m installed and it ran without problems. Could it be that the GPU on the motherboard got damaged and the board needs to be replaced or is there something I'm missing? I've searched for solutions everywhere but found nothing. I installed all the drivers in order from a fresh Windows install but nothing helped. The model number of my motherboard is MXWPK if that helps.

Thank you for any assistance.
