Nvidia Geforce 8600M GT Code 43 Error
I recently restored my system using dell factory image restore after which my graphic card is showing an error in the device manager as code 43 - windows has stopped this device as it has reported problems . But before system restore the card was working perfectly with 756 MB shared and 256 MB dedicated graphics memory . The error goes away if i install the standard VGA Driver but graphics memory is shown as 14 MB . Please help ASAP !!! I even tried downloading drivers from nvidia and dell and even updated my BIOS . Nothings working .

Hi Karthik,
It can be annoying when the Graphics Card fails to work properly after restoring the system to factory defaults. I suggest you to run the Microsoft Fixit provided in the link below that can fix this issue:
