OS Policy and Premium Support
Hi,
If I buy a XPS 15 with Premium support, which comes with Windows 10 pre-installed, remove Windows 10 to install Ubuntu and then require support, will I have a problem because I removed the default OS?

For hardware, no - for the OS, Dell will support only the factory installed OS.

Leave the Dell diagnostic partition in place - that's all you need.

So, if I have a hardware problem they won't ask me to install some diagnostic tool it'll only work on Windows10?
