Power supplies - Interchangable?
I now own an Inspiron 2650 AND an 1100. The 26509 I take everywhere, but the new 1100 seems to have a more "Robust" power supply (The cord has a heavy insulation jacket, meaning hopefully it can take more movement before breaking). I have all the information for both power supplies. How can I find out if they are compatible?

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
The part number for the AC adapter for the Inspiron 2650 and Inspiron 1100 is the same. The cords can be interchanged without causing problems.

Thank you very much, BobT, there are slight variations between the power addaptors, but possibly because one was purchased last year, and one this year. Thanks very much for your help!
